| Mifepristone combined with Misoprostol has been widely used for terminate early pregnancy in recently years. It is accepted in clinic because of its more safety and efficiency and convenience in use and slight pain than that of operation-abortion. It is obviously that this method still has some shortage for large and long blooding. How to reduce bleeding quantity and shorten bleeding duration after medical abortion is urgent to be resolved. Traditional Chinese medicine has its own advantage for prevention and treat mention blooding after drug-abortion.After a long study my director anti professor Wei Ai-Ping believed that the main reason of large and long blooding is qi deficiency and blood stasis. The therapy principle is reinforcing the deficiency and removing stasis to shrink uterus. On the base of summarized study of prevention and treat mention on blooding after drug-abortion, anti professor Wei Ai-Ping made the prescription named of YiKunning heji, which is mainly composed of Radix Codonopsis pilosulae, Powder of Radix Notoginseng, Herba Leonuri, Radix Arnebiae seu Lithospermi etc. The clinical study and modern pharmacological researches in experimented animals were firmly performed that YiKunning heji just have these Chinese traditional medicine which can invigorate qi, dissipate blood stasis and stanching, stop bleeding, resist inflammation and shrink uterus to invigorate qi and remove stasis, shrink uterus and stop bleeding. All of these have been proved that YiKunning Heji's action of curing bleeding after medical abortion and makes a discussion to the Yikunning Heji's curative effect and acting mechanism.Clinic observation: 115 patients who are unconstraint to ask medical abortion are allocated randomly into 2 groups: treated group, which contains 65 patients, and antithetic group, which contains 50 patients. All patients take orally 150mg Mifepristone in two days. They must come to the hospital to take orally 600 g Misoprostol when they are limosis in the morning of the third day. They are asked to stay in hospital for 6 hours to be observed. After the sac discharging, patients of the treated group take orally Yikunning Heji in this day, 100ml, b.i.d, and they must continue to take the medicine for 7 days. The antithetic group take orally Yimucao keli for 7 days, 15g, b.i.d. The result shows that complete abortion rate of the treated group is 92.31% and the antithetic group is 88%.There is no statistics difference between them,P>0.05.The treated group's bleeding duration of the vagina is 10.35 5.21days, and the latter is 13.73 5.47 days. The statistics difference between them is prominent, P<0.05.To the former, those whose bleeding time is less than or equal to 2 weeks account for 75%,and the latter is 57.69%.The statistics difference between them is prominent, P<0.05. The treated group's bleeding time is shorter than the antithetic group. As the improvement of the herbalist doctor syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis, the treated group's overall efficiency rate is 92.31%, and the antithetic group is 74%. The statistics difference between them is prominent, P<0.05. In the treated group, those whose bleeding quantity is less than catamenia account for55%,and the antithetic group account for 29.55%. The statistics difference between them is prominent, P< 0.05. The treated group's bleeding quantity is less than antithetic group. As for the time in regain menstruation of them and regain menstruation menses, there is no statistics difference between them, and this indicates that the prescription doesn't affect resumption of catamenia.There are two groups in the one is used of Herbal Leonuri Heji for antithetic group, the other one is used of Yikunning heji for treat mental group.
