In this chapter, at-first, the type and the character of the management mode of medicinal college in university in America,France and Japan was introduced roundly. Then, the merging situation of several national medical colleges and the management modes of these colleges?power-centralized type, power-decentralized type, power-centralized-and-decentralized type were studied in all round; aRd the characters, strongpoint and disadvantages of those modes were discussed.In Chapter 4, based on the chapter 3, some basic principles- that the choice of the management mode of the medical college in merged university should follow were discussed. The education of medicine is one important part of higher education, then the principle of integer, the principle of high efficiency, the principle of democracy, theprinciple of sustaining development, the principle of maximize the objective, are the basic principles that the management of medical college should follow.The Chapter 5 is the part of practice in this paper. In this chapter, the Xiang-ya medical college of CSU(central south university) was chosen as a object to study the management mode in merged university. In this chapter, some shortcomings in management of the personnel, financing, teaching, research, and students recruiting in Xiang-ya medical college was discussed in detail, and based on the reference to the ideas of correlative experts and scholars, several radical characters of the management mode of Xiang-ya medical college were discussed.
