Acupuncture Clinical Studies Of Two-step Six Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of" Zhenyaoliangbuliufa"decotion on Knee Joint Osteoarthritis.Methods: 40 cases Knee Joint OA collected from Zhong Hwu Free Clinic Singapore were random divided into treated group and control group. 20 cases in treated group took" zhenyaoliangbuliufa"decotion and 20cases in control group took single of TCM treatment was 20 days.Three indexes included pain, intumesce, and joint function were record before and after treatment. Adverse effect was also recorded.Results: The symptoms and physical signs were improved after treatment. There was obviously difference between before and after treatment (P<0. 01) and no difference between the two groups(P>.05). The total curative effect rate was 90% in treated group and 85% in control group. The^re was no obvious adverse effect been shown in treated group and control group Conclusion: Not only the symptoms and physical signs were improved, but also the adverse reaction was small and slight GIT symptoms.
