Clinical Efficacy Study On The Treatment Of Osteoarthritis Of Knee With "Bajiyigu Decotion"

Objective:To calculate TCM syndrome score and WOMAC score in the knee joint before and after treatment,and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the treatment,then to analyze the results.To further understand the clinical treatment effect of Bajiyigu Decotion on early knee osteoarthritis with Gan-Shen Deficiency Syndrome,to understand characteristics and advantages of the Decotion to provide some experimental basis for the promotion in the future.Methods:The subject of this study was from January 2016 to December 2016 in elderly patients with osteoarthritis of knee in the rehabilitation and outpatient department of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University.According to the criteria of inclusion and exclusion,60 cases were randomly divided into two groups:the group was divided into 1:1(30 cases).There were no significant differences in age,sex,imaging grade and other related factors between the two groups.The TCM symptoms scores and WOMAC scores were evaluated before and after treatment,and the validity and safety evaluation,statistical results and analysis were carried out.Results:Bajiyigu Decotion can significantly improve the TCM symptoms of knee osteoarthritis patients,significantly reduce the WOMAC score;The TCM symptoms of both the two groups after the treatment for 3 months compared with that before treatment were significantly improved,there was a significant difference(P<0.05).The WOMAC scores of both the two groups after the treatment for 3 months compared with that before treatment were significantly reduced,there was a significant difference(P<0.05).The effective rate was 93.3%in the experimental group and 73.3%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse events in the experimental group and the control group.In the control group,there were 4 cases of mild mouth dryness and dryness of the stool,indicating that the efficacy and safety of the Bajiyigu Decotion group were better than that of the Xianling Gubao Capsule group.Conclusion:Bajiyigu Decotion can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of knee osteoarthritis(Gan-Shen Deficiency Syndrome),without adverse reaction,which is a safe and effective traditional Chinese medicine compound.
