The etiopathology, clinical treatment and its effective mechanism as well as evaluation on curative effects concerning complicated dumping syndrome after operation for gastric carcinoma are discussed in the thesis from both theoretic and clinical aspects under the guide of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with clinical experience. In the part of theory research, the author puts forward that disharmony of stomach Qi due to disorders of transportation and transformation is the basic etiology and pathology of the disease, and the general principles of corresponding treatment lie in regulating Qi, harmonizing stomach and promoting digestion. In the part of clinical study, the Decoction of Harmonizing Stomach to Promote Transportation (Ping Yun Zhu Wei Tang) is employed in treated group while atropihe is adopted in compared group. The curative effects of the decoction for symptoms in the digestive tract due to early dumping syndrome are observed to confirm the certainty of its validity, which provides a right way for the treatment to the syndrome after operation for gastric carcinoma.
