| 〖Purpose〗It was confirmed by experimental research that there are many effects of Acu-point injecting therapy (APIT) with HUANGQI and DANGGUI injections in ST36, BL18 and BL21. The effects of it are twofold regulating the immune system of the patient with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and sufficiently enhancing the activity of SOD to protect the gastric mucous membrane from the injuries of the oxygen free radical. It can be weeded out the attacking factors such as Hp with APIT to control the inflammation of the gastric mucous membrane, enhance the blood circulation of the gastric mucous membrane, improve the microcirculation of the gastric mucous membrane, promote the secretion of the gastric juice and alleviate or reverse the intestine-like changing of the gastric mucous membrane. The APIT can be used to restrain the hyperplasia of the unwonted cells and promote the apoptosis of the hyperplasia in the gastric mucous membrane to reach the purpose of treating CAG and preventing the happening of the cancer. So the effect of treating CAG with APIT is definite. APIT is an economic and safe therapeutic method, which is to be spread conveniently and more perfect, standard and scientific with very extending clinical prospect by further research. Our study start with the relation between liver and stomach and raise the method of regulating the liver & harmonizing the stomach, which is a therapeutic method for treating the diseases of spleen and stomach with the feature of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Our research will provide rich experimental data and theoretical support for the extending application of APIT. Because the APIT embodies the basic theory of TCM preferably, it will obtain the mechanism of treating CAG with TCM therapy practically and truthfully, it can raise the position the TCM therapy in treating CAG. It will develop the idea of treating CAG in clinic to offer the reliable way for curing the CAG and preventing the development of gastric cancer.〖Methods〗For systematically observing the differences of the acu-points prescription of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating CAG with APIT, our research studied included experimental and clinical study the method of regulating the liver & harmonizing the stomach with APIT from two aspects, i.e. experimental research and clinical research.In experimental part, we successfully reproduced the rat model of CAG with different severity of injuries of the gastric mucous membrane by MNNG. The 50 rats were grouped into 4 groups, there were the model group (20 rats), regulating-liver group (10 rats), fortifying-spleen group (10 rats) and the control group (10 rats). The rats were feed MNNG liquid in 60ug/ml except the rats in control group. The rat in regulating-liver group and fortifying-spleen were treat with APIT in the 10th week of experimental research. The injection of APIT treatment is a mixture of DANGGUI injection and HUANGQI injection. In every point, 0.2~0.5 ml was injected. ST36 and LR3 were selected for the regulating-liver group, ST36 and SP3 for fortifying-spleen group. It was treated with APIT every other day. All rats were killed at the end of the 31st week. The stomach, liver and the blood of rats were taken for the proper test respectively. We've observed the effects of the method of regulating the liver & harmonizing the stomach with APIT in treating CAG from many aspects, such as liver and stomach pathology, defense of gastric juice wall, macrostructure of the gastric mucous membrane, the cell protecting factors in the gastric mucous membrane,anti-injuries of oxygen free radical and blood circulation of the gastric mucous membrane.In clinical part, 109 patients were divided into two groups, i.e., the regulating-liver group (55 cases) and the fortifying-spleen group (54 cases).
