Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Degenerative Lower Cervical Spine Instability By Longshi’s Traction With Bone Setting

ObjectiveThis research adopts randomized controlled clinical trial comparing the observation under the Longshi’s traction with bone setting method with traditional traction therapy in patients with degenerative disease of cervical vertebra instability under the visual analogue scale(VAS)pain index(NDI),the influence of cervical dysfunction under Longshi’s traction with bone setting method in the treatment of degenerative disease of cervical vertebra instability under the security effectiveness of practicability and its mechanism of action,for the clinical application of Longshi’s traction with bone setting method under the treatment of degenerative disease of cervical vertebra instability to provide an objective basis.MethodsIn this study,72 patients with degenerative lower cervical instability were selected.Under the guidance of the principle of randomized parallel controlled study,the subjects were divided into treatment group and control group(36 cases in each)according to random number table method.Under the basic treatment of electric acupuncture therapy,the two groups were treated with Longshi’s traction with bone setting and traditional traction therapy,respectively.The VAS scores and NDI scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.After the treatment,the overall efficacy of the two methods was evaluated,and the corresponding statistical methods were used to verify whether the difference between the treatment results was statistically significant.ResultsSeventy-two subjects who met the criteria were included in this study,and 72 of them actually completed the study without excluding patients who fell out or stopped during the period.(1)Influence of treatment in the two groups on VAS score:compared with before treatment,VAS score in both groups decreased after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that both treatments can relieve the pain symptoms of patients;VAS scores were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.01),indicating that Longshi’s traction with bone setting was superior to traditional traction therapy in pain relief.(2)The effect of two groups of therapy on NDI score:compared with before treatment,the NDI score of two groups of patients decreased after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that both treatments could improve the patients’ neck dysfunction.There was a significant difference in NDI scores between the two groups(P<0.01).(3)Overall efficacy evaluation:after treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.89%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 77.78%.The difference in the efficacy composition between the two groups was statistically significant,but there was no significant difference in the total effective rate.ConclusionBoth the Longshi’s traction with bone setting and the traditional traction therapy can effectively relieve the pain of patients with degenerative lower cervical instability and improve their neck dysfunction,but the efficacy of Longshi’s traction with bone setting is more significant,worthy of further promotion in clinical application.
