Detoxification Stasis Decoction Treatment Of Acute Edematous Pancreatitis In Clinical Studies

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects of Jie Du long Yu Decoction (JDTYD), Sandostatin, Ofloxacin, Tinidazole, Famotidine on acute edematous pancreatitis(AEP) so as to evaluate objectively the therapeutic effects of "heat-clearing and detoxifying,promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,purgation", besides to explore its mechanism. Methods41 cases of AEP were randomly divided into two groups, JDTYD group(21 cases) was treated by JDTYD, Sandostatin, Ofloxacin, Tinidazole, Famotidine, control group(20 cases) was treated by Sandostatin, Ofloxacin, Tinidazole, Famotidine. The changes of symptoms, the time for restoring normality of leukocyte in blood, serum amylase, urine amylase and bellyache as well as process of disease were compared. ResultsClinical effective rate of JDTYD group was 95.24%. The total symptom scores were 151. The average symptom scores were 7.19± 1.43 before treatment, while it was 1.19± 0.45 after treatment. Clinical effective rate of control group was 85%. The total symptom scores were 141. The average symptom scores were 7.05±1.24 before treatment, and became 2.73±0.79 after one week treatment. The time for restoring normality of serum amylase,urine amylase and leukocyte in blood as well as bellyache of JDTYD group were 3.80±1.14, 4.22±1.99, 5.47±2.51, 3.5±1.52 after treatment, while those of control group were respectively 6.05±2.78, 7.1±3.05, 8.69±3.71, 5.4±1.83. The average time for being in hospital of JDTYD group was 8.7±2.1, while that of control group was 13.5±3.2.In controlling the clinical symptoms, the time for restoring normality of serum amylase and urine amylase as well as leukocyte in blood, JDTYD group was better than the control group (P < 0.05). ConclusionJDTYD was effective in treating AEP. It accorded to the pathological character of AEP, using the method of heat-clearing and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis as well as purgation, can not only improve the clinical symptoms better, but also abridge process of disease and the time for restoring normality of serum amylase, urine amylase,leukocyte in blood.
