Chronic superficial gastritis is an inflammation lesion of gastric mucous membrane caused by different etiological factor. This disease pertains to the categories of stomachache in TCM and "pi".Chronic superficial gastritis ( CSG) is prevalent because of living tension and eating habit.Although this disease isn' t dangerous to the life ,it has affected employment and living of patients. There is no effective therapy on CSG at present. The most important risk factor is infection with Helicobactor pylori ( HP ) from modern investigation. Using simple western medicine against HP will be acompanied by more side effect and strong dependence,besides ,it will cost much money. If western medicine is used extensively for a long time,the HP in patients will produce endurance to it.According to the principle of "treatment determination based on syndroms differentiation",exerting the whole regulating superority,improving the clinic symptom of the sufferer remarkably,the traditional medicine has a good effect on chronic superficial gastritis through mult-pathway , mult-target and mult-level,heighten the eradiction of HP,reduce recrudescence and the side effect of western medicine.So there is an important society meaning through exhibiting the combination with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine investigation of CSG .Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Liver-depressed and Gastropyretic Epigastralgia treated by Zuo Jin Wan and Hua Gan Jian, ,so as to discuss the mechanism of Chinese traditional medicine, explore the advantage and feasibility in combination with trational Chinese medicine and western medicineMethods:60 Chronic superficial gastritis cases with HP infection were divided into two group randomly,30 cases in treatment group,added Zuo Jin Wan and HuaGan Jian based on western medicine;30 cases in control group,only using western medicine .One month was regarded as one course to the two courses,to investigate clinical symptoms ,clinical symptoms under endoscopy,the rate of HP eradication,clinical side effect.Results:The treatment group is superior to control group in the alleviating of clinical symptom, clinical symptoms under endoscopy,clinical side effect,and the rate of HP eradication recurring rate ( P < 0.05 ) .Conclusion:Using Zuo Jin Wan and Hua Gan Jian combined with western medincine to treat the Liver-depressed and Gastropyretic Epigastralgia chronic superficial gastritis.
