Object: To study the effect of XiaoLaoYanShuKeLi therapy asthenopia on the experiment, and to discuss it's mechanisms.Methods: Asthenopia Tree Shrews models established by made staring continuously, were treated with XiaoLaoYanShuKeLi and QiJuDiHuangWan respectively, their ciliary body were separated to quantitate the B2-AR and to study pathologic histology changes.Results: (1)After using XiaoLaoYanShuKeli, the B2-AR in the ciliary muscle of Tree Shrew was under-regulated(P<0.05). (2)After using XiaoLaoYanShuKeli, the density and a -SMA in the ciliary muscle of Tree Shrew was decreased (P<0. 05). (3) ci 1 iary muscle of Tree Shrew was relaxed.Conclusion: XiaoLaoYanShuKeLi can adjust the excitability of sympathetic nerve, balancing the excitability of sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve. XiaoLaoYanShuKeLi still can relaxed contracting muscles. By these ways, XLYSKL can therapy asthenopia. the middle dose is better, and its match the clinical medication dosage, so we chose the middle dose as the best one.
