This paper aims to give a general summary of the clinical development of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.The reseash of the pathology of the disease is expressed in western medicine whilst the therapeutic development is expressed in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After that,The author gives some of her thoughts and intends to amplify the therapeutic effect of this disease under a thorough research together with the clinical experience from the author's mentor, escaping repeated flare up of this disease .The appendix is written according to the principle used in <> Setting up a model to observe the therapeutic effect of Pen Yan Kang Shuan and Guan Chang He Ji and their analysis based according to the clinical experience of the author's mentor, 67 patients who were suffered from chronic pelvic inflammatory disease has been achived satisfactive effect. The result shows that the total notable effective rate of Pen Yan Kang Shuan is 65.71%, and the total effective rate is 88.57%; both of the two rates of Guan Chang He Ji are 62.50% 90.63%. Through statistics, Illustrating effect of the two groups is alike (P>0.05). Because Pen Yan Kang Shuan is used conveniently and patients are accepted easily, and It has fairly future of clinical apply to treat chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
