The Basic Pathogenesis Of Depression And Intervention Research

Objective: To research the relationship between Qi dynamic disorder syndrome and Depression and the regulatory role of Decoction Xinshu No.l, and then explain the biochemistry Mechanism of Qi dynamic disorder syndrome and curative Mechanism of herbal medicine.Methods: Divide 36 Kunming rats into six groups at random, one normal group, two model groups which are made by full amount of reserpine injection and half amount of reserpine injection combined with stimulating which is called Qi dynamic model, the other three groups are Qi dynamic models followed by herbs, western medicine and herbs combined with western medicine treatments. Then examine the concentration changes of norepinephrine, 5-hydroxyltryptamine in the rats brain by the methods of HPLC electro Chemistry.Result: Compared to the normal group, the concentration of NE, 5-HT in the rat brain of two models are obviously decreased (P<0.01). Among the herbs group, western medicine group and herbs combined with western medicine group, The concentration of NE and 5-HT has obvious differences (P<0.01). While compared to the model group, the three curative groups have obvious increases in the concentration of NE and 5-HT (P<0.01) especially herbs group and herbs combined with western medicine group. (P<0.01) All the results have statistical sense.Conclusion: Qi dynamic disorders syndrome has close relation with depression. And Decoction Xinshu No.l has good regulatory role for the depression caused by Qi dynamic syndrome.
