Xingshen Stagnation Clinical Study Of Acupuncture Treatment Of Depression

Purpose: To observe the clinical curative effect of the "xingshen jieyu"acupuncture method, though the clinical random comparison research, to proof that "xingshen jieyu"acupuncture method is one of the most effective and safe treatment to depression, and it's more convenient to carry out in clinical practice.Method: 60 cases with depression were selected with certain diagnostic standard. They were randomly divided into 2 groups: "xingshen jieyu" acupuncture group and fluoxetine group, there were 30 patients in each group. Hamilton Depression Scale was used to evaluate the curative effect of the two treatments.Result: After three weeks' treatment, among 30 patients in the "xingshen jieyu" acupuncture group, 5 had no change, 9 were improved, 15 were obviously improved, 1 were cured. Among 30 patients in the fluoxetine group, 8 had no change, 10 were improved, 12 were obviously improved, none were cured. After six weeks' treatment, among 30 patients in the "xingshen jieyu" acupuncture group, 4 had no change, 5 were improved, 16 were obviously improved, 5 were cured. Among 30 patients in the fluoxetine group, 7 had no change, 8 were improved, 12 were obviously improved, 3 were cured. Conclusion:(1) The "xingshen jieyu"acupuncture method is specialized by our study.(2) Patients with depression can be cured by "xingshen jieyu" acupuncture method no mater what the types they were.(2) The "xingshen jieyu"acupuncture method is easy to use, it has little side effect, and, it has exact effect to depression.
