The Shenshu Sticking Treatment Of Chronic Aplastic Anemia Mechanism And Clinical Effect

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect and safety of Shenshu acupoint application in treating chronic aplastic anemia (CAA) and study its mechanism.Method:All 60 patients of CAA were randomly divided into two group—thirty patients of the therapeutic group of Shenshu acupoint application, other thirty cases of the routine medicine control group. Two groups were treated with routine medicine according the requirement of disease. The therapeutic group took Shenshu acupoint application every day, six to eight hours each time. The therapeutic period was 28 days, the routine medicine control group took routine medicine. The therapeutic period was 28 days. Then to observe the differences of the therapeutic effect and safe indexes between the before and after treatments.Results:1.The total effective rate of the therapeutic group and the routine medicine control group were 80.0% and 63.3%, the comparison between the two groups showed significant difference (P < 0.05),which shows that the total effect of the therapeutic group was better than of the routine medicine control group.2.There was significant difference between the before and after treatments in the total scores of two group (P < 0.05), which indicated that the therapeutic group and the routine medicine control group could improve the symptoms .And the comparison between the two groups showed significant difference (P < 0.05), which showed that the therapeutic group had better clinical effect than the routine medicine control group.3.The total effective rate on deficiency of kidney-yang and deficiency of kidney-yin-yang of the therapeutic group was 90% and 87.5% , that of the routine medicine control group was72.7% and 66.7%. There was significant between two group(P < 0.05), which indicate that the effect on deficiency of kidney-yang and deficiency of kidney-yin-yang of the therapeutic group was better than that of the routine medicine control group .The total effective rate on deficiency of kidney-yin of the therapeutic group was66.7% , that of the routine medicine control group was 61.5% . There was no obvious discrepancy between two group (P>0.05), which showed that there were close therapeutic effect on deficiency of kidney-yin between the groups.4.The two groups of CAA patients'peripheral blood cells had increased significantly, they had obvious discrepancy between two group (P < 0.05),that showed the effect of the therapeutic group was better than that of the routine medicine control group on alleviate CAA patients'Anemia symptoms.5.There was no abnormality between before and after treatments among two groups which indicate that Shenshu acupoint application was the safe, effect and no toxicity treatment method for the CAA.Conclusion:The observation indicated that the clinical effect of Shenshu acupoint application had curative effect in treating CAA. And its effect is superior in deficiency of kidney-yang and deficiency of kidney-yin-yang to that in deficiency of kidney-yin. It could efficiently Increase the CAA patients'peripheral blood cells, improve the anemia symptoms, improve renal function. And there was no any side effect, Shenshu acupoint application was an effective and safe treatment method for CAA.
