In recent years, because of the rapid economic growth, the demands of the quality of health services of people are increasing; however the existing health resources and services can not meet the needs of people' s demands, which have become the most pressing concerns among the mass. The basic purpose of this study is to correctly understand the general situation of doctor-patient relationship under the New Rural Cooperative Medical System (NRCMS),and how the relationship changes after experiencing the macro-structural and institutional changes.This study mainly discusses how the institutional factors influenced the doctor-patient relationship after the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system. The study focuses on two main measured dimensions; one is different grades and different standardizations of medical institutions, while the other is the different subjectivity position of farmers after participating in the NRCMS. In this master' s thesis, the author specifically analyses the changes between doctors and patients in the treatment relationship and the interaction of economic relationship after the NRCMS.According to the empirical study, the author found that the standardization of medical side turned to the medical resources in rural areas to improve accessibility. So the patients' side benefited of their own subjective sense of obvious, along with improving the status of subjectivity. Looking from the point, the farmers showed a positive, affirmation, recognition and trust attitude in the overall evaluation of the doctor-patient relationship.On the other hand, the infiltration of the system made the different socio-economic status of patients with different types of diseases expected differences in doctor-patient relationship; if patients chose different medical institutions for medical treatment, their assessments of doctor-patient relationship is also different, even come out yi nao which is a kind of extreme performance of doctor-patient relationship making the doctor-patient relationship model changes accordingly.
