Objective:To study on distributing characteristic of symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine of Chronic Hepatitis B, and study on the relationship among the symptom, virology of Chronic Hepatitis B,biochemical indicators and brithtness mode. Then provide a principle for the TCM treatment of CHB and syndrome objectived. Methods:The symptoms of two hundred and twenty one subjects from PLA 302 Hospital were recorded and devided into five types syndrome of TCM:①liver stagnation and spleen deficiency;②dampness-heat in the liver and the gallbladder;③liver blood block;④liver-kidney yin deficiency;⑤dampness-retention due to spleen deficiency. Then reaserch the distribution of the syndrome of TCM and the relationship witn laboratory parameters by analyzing their baseline data and laboratory examination, include virology of Chronic Hepatitis B,liver function and brithtness mode,etc.Results:1. The main syndrome element of two hundred and twenty one subjects is liver stagnation and spleen deficiency. The distribution of the syndrome of TCM is:①>②>③>④>⑤. There were no differences in their age, sex, height, weight and course of disease (P>0.05).2.Divided all subjects into two teams with HBV DNA level. It shows that①and②were the main types syndrome of TCM in team A (HBV DNA≥1.00×106cp/ml) (P<0.01), and the percents of③,④,⑤was low. they had no differences in team B(HBV DNA<1.00×106cp/ml) (P>0.05).3. The ALT,AST mean level of②increased highest and had signifficant differences with other types syndrome of TCM(P<0.01). The second was③,had differences with④,⑤(P<0.05), but①(P>0.05).4. The TBIL,DBIL mean level of②increased highest and had significant differences with other types syndrome of TCM (P<0.01). The second was③, had differences with④(P<0.05). The DBIL level of③had signifficant differences with⑤(P<0.01).5. The portal vein diameter and spleen thickness had no differences between all types syndrome of TCM.Conclusion: Depending on the analysis of two hundred twenty one CHB subjects, it shows that:liver stagnation and spleen deficiency was the main pathogenesis of CHB,and liver stagnation and spleen deficiency,dampness-heat in the liver and the gallbladder were the main types syndrome of TCM. The CHB subjects belonged to liver stagnation and spleen deficiency,dampness-heat in the liver and the gallbladder were in a state of hingh viral replication.dampness-heat in the liver and the gallbladder had significantly inflammation and worse damage in liver. So the biochemical indicators and the level of HBV DNA can be a reference for diagnosing TCM syndrome of CHB.
