Polyphenols Piece Adjuvant Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Observed

Objective:①To estimate the tea polyphenol's therapeutic effect in advanced NSCLC patients.②To observe the life quality of advanced NSCLC patients who adjuvanted chemotherapy with tea polyphenol.Methods:57 NSCLC patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:treatment group (31),control group (26). All the patients were given chemotherapy, Patients in treatment group were given tea polyphenol in the fist 14 days,3 times a day with 2 pills each time.Two weeks later, objective therapeutic effect of tumor,KPS,appetite,body weight were observed.Results:①Objective therapeutic effect of tumor:the effective power of treatment group and control group were similer(treatment group29.0%;control group 23.1%,P>0.05).②Life quality:(1)comparison inside groups:the average KPS of treatment group is significantly increased after treatment(KPS=77.10, P<0.05). the average KPS of control group is significantly decreased after treatment(KPS=68.46, P<0.05).(2)comparison between groups:the average KPS of treatment group is much higher than the control group(treatment group 77.10;control group68.46, P<0.05). (3)comparison of KPS'effecient between groups:after treatment the Efficient and Stability of treatment group is significantly higher than the control roup(treatment group83.9%;control group57.7%,P<0.05).③Appetite:in the treatment group,21 patients'appetite have on change after treatment(67.7%), while,5 patients'appetite have on change in the control group (19.2%) (P<0.01)④Body weight:in the treatment group:before treatment, patients'average body weight was 67.58Kg, after treatment patients'average body weight was67.39Kg.in the control group:before treatment, patients'average body weight was 66.15Kg, after treatment patients'average body weight was63.54Kg.there's no significant different between or inside groups(P> 0.05).Conclusion:①Adjuvanted chemotherapy with tea polyphenol can change the life quality and KPS of advanced NSCLC patients.②Tea polyphenol can avoid the changes of appetite and body weight ③Tea polyphenol has no Significant advantage in objective therapeutic effect of tumor④There's no Significant side effect during the treatment.⑤The results showed that tea polyphenol in adjuvant chemotherapy treatment of advanced NSCLC has a good development trend.But we still need to do the large sample size,multi-center,randomized,controlled,double-blind experiments to further exploration.
