Strategic human resource management has become mainstream in the era of knowledge- economy. The formulation and implementation of strategic human resources management focus on business strategy. And it identifies the best practice of human resources management and improves the internal consistency with organizational strategy of human resources management in order to obtain and maintain sustainable competitive advantage, thereby enhance the performance of organization.In the wave of china's media development, the cultural system reform has brought unprecedented opportunities for traditional financial media's development. Meanwhile, it also meet challenges of new media and foreign strong financial medium. In a variety of opportunities and challenges, China's traditional financial media has shown a new trend. The traditional financial media is still in the stage of personnel management yet. So, human resources management is precisely a short board during their development. How to build a strategic human resource management system according to their own development strategies, organizational structure and organizational characteristics has become an important research topic in the development of traditional financial media.By means of SWOT analysis, this paper analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of China's traditional financial media, expound its development trend which would generate demands on the human resource management. Then, it analyzed the status and problems of human resource management in China's traditional financial media. And then through comparative analysis, made several suggestions on how to build a strategic human resource management system to achieve the strategic development and improve organizational performance, which based on the suitability and contingency perspective of strategic human resource management.
