The Research On Application Mode Of Information Technology In University Crisis Management

It is a new subject for the universities that information technology is applied into crisis management in China. The purpose of dissertation is to put forward the application modes of information technology to manage university crisis. The application mode is deduced from analyzing the problems of crisis management in Chinese universities and the situation of educational informatization, using the experience of information technology applied into crisis management at home and abroad for reference, and combining theory with work practices.By the analysis of two typical university crisis cases, the author puts up four crisis management models. The first is university crisis management response (CMR) model which is combined with the information technology in the information communication management. The second is university crisis management decision and supporting system (CMSS) model based on the information technology in the workflow and Swiss CMSS structure. The third is university crisis management training (CMT) model composed of university website, BBS, VOD, multimedia technology and distance education. The last is university crisis evaluation (CME) model based on the application of websites.Form the angel of university informatization construction, the paper strengthens the theory of civil university crisis management. Comparatively speaking, the theoretical achievement can make university crisis precaution and management to work efficiently and adequately.
