Zhengzhou Yellow River scenic area has developed for several dozens years and has experienced most prosperous time-----the 80's and the 90's of 20th century.Now,the Yellow River scenic area 's tourist quantity gradually decreases, the number is about only 5.6 million people every year in recent years,and it may continue to decrease.The tourist quantity reduction main results from that the original traveling project can't meet present tourist's needs and has not change the new traveling project to get along with people's expense idea .This paper tries to analyze the reasons for the problem, and from the term of market to examine how to develop tourism products development strategy according to tourism market situations and the Yellow River spot's resources and the actual characteristics so that the spot can better meet the needs of the tourism market in a long run.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the Yellow River scenic area's location and the development status at present. It also offers purpose and significance of this paper.The second Chapter is a part of theoretical basis .It states the concept of tourism products and basic theory of tourism product development, providing a theoretical basis for the Yellow River Scenic Area Tourism Product Development. This chapter focuses on the Life Cycle Theory and the tourism product marketing theory and seeks their significance for the Tourism Product Development. Finally it expounds the domestic tourism product development status, which is the present background Of Yellow River Scenic Area tourism product development.Chapter III is a part of tourism market analysis .It discusses international and domestic tourism market demands and trends, Then get the international and domestic tourists growth characteristics of the Yellow River Scenic Area. On this basis the tourism market development strategy is obtained.ChapterIV discusses the international and domestic tourism product demand trends, sums up the Yellow River Scenic Area tourism product development principles and objectives as well as make correct positioning for tourism products.Chapter V states the Yellow River Scenic Area tourism product development strategy specific development measures.
