Affected by the global economic crisis, the consumer electronics industry has been stagnant;LCD TV market is no exception. In this circumstance, how the companies can develop new products faster and better into the market with the least time and resources, has become an issue of business survival event. Based on this,this thesis intends to gain a better understanding on the scheduling management of LCD TV motherboard R & D projects.First,the thesis reviews project scheduling management theory and does detailed description of planning and controlling, which include planning steps,planning way, control theory, control measures and so on. Secondly, it analyses LCD TV motherboard R & D project management characteristics of the various stages and proposes complexity issues in their scheduling management of the motherboard R & D project:the uncertainty of scheduling management;the complexity of vertical coordination of project scheduling management;the complexity of horizontal coordination of project scheduling management.Then, this thesis gives the corresponding strategy analysis of the complexity of these three issues:backup inventory management strategy;project outsourcing management strategy and collaborative scheduling management strategy of multi-project.Finally, based on the actual work, it takes W company's scheduling management of LCD TV motherboard R & D projects as an example. The W company successfully applies the scheduling management strategies to address the corresponding complicated issues. It is a great example for other enterprises regarding the product R & D scheduling management.
