Selecting a good project is the best way to achieve success, choosing an entrepreneurial project is the first step to set up your business, and also the most important step. As to the aspiring college student en-trepreneurs who want to realize the dream of starting their own businesses, the selection of a suitable business project is a crucial component, which maybe will determine the success of entrepreneurship.In order to find the problems that the students always meet when selecting an entrepreneurial project, the thesis will start in re-searching university student entrepreneurs which is a special group of entrepreneurs in relation to the entrepreneur's social workers in general entrepreneurs. First to analysis the advantages and disadvantages of university students and then compare the distinction between entre-preneurial projects and general projects. The "entrepreneurial uni-versity students" and " entrepreneurial projects, " which are the two core concept of this thesis, will be clearly defined; then, the present status of university students selecting entrepreneurial project will be in-vestigated, the reason why university students selecting these projects will interpreted; Finally, the thesis will put forward the main factors that affect the university students'selection in start-up projects, then to empirical analysis them.The main research processes be used in this thesis are questionnaire survey method, literature analysis method, induction method, Survey-based research, case study method and other methods, combined with the relevant theory and results of "University students'innovative undertaking" and "entrepreneurial projects", to gradually deepen the cognition and rational knowledge of the status that students start-up the project, and reached the following four main conclusions:1. College students have the advantage in the level of knowledge, learning ability, entrepreneurial enthusiasm, but also have disad-vantages such as lack of experience, psychological immaturity, difficult to establish a credit, and difficulties in financing, which will have an impact on the business needs to be carefully treated;2. Entrepreneurial projects have higher risks and uncertainties than general projects, so they cannot be treated as a general project;3. Currently, about 80% of college students'entrepreneurial projects are concentrated in the five major areas, such as the wholesale and retail trade, cultural and educational body industry, machinery industry, IT areas and convenient services;4. There are three main categories of factors will affect students' selection of entrepreneurial projects, they are personality charac-teristics, personal background, the external environment.
