Study Of The Development Of Urban Fringe Areas Of Urban Agriculture In Xi'an

Urban agriculture is a new urban ecological form of agriculture which can meet the material needs of the city, the spirit of urban leisure and tourism demand and urban ecology demand. The development of urban agriculture is not only benefit for changes of traditional agriculture, increment of the income of agricultural laborers, but also conducive to the harmony of rural and urban areas, and accelerating urban and rural diversification. Therefore, Xi'an urban agriculture development in marginal areas is investigated, the actual development is analyzed, which is good guide for Xi'an Urban Agriculture to establish goals and development model.This paper first outlines the meaning of urban agriculture, features, functions and types, the theoretical foundation for the development of urban agriculture is determined, and analyze and evaluate the typical practice of urban agricultural development at home and abroad, based on its experience in the development of summary, the reasonable development model of urban agriculture of the part of our country is made. Case of Xi'an City, firstly through the development of urban agriculture in Xi'an profile analyzed, relevant research methods are used to define the marginal areas of Xi'an. Second, a reasonable evaluation index system of the development of urban agriculture is established, the quantitative analysis of index data is made, and the marginal areas of Xi'an urban agriculture development level is determined by the relevant mathematical model. Through the comparison with domestic and international development of urban agriculture in some areas, the viable development strategies and development objectives of the marginal areas of Xi'an urban agriculture is analyzed, and the innovation system of architectural innovation, technological innovation and system innovation under development is explored. Finally, in accordance with above theoretical research and quantitative analysis result, a number of targeted measures and suggestions for agricultural development in Xi'an city are made.
