Optimization Of Industrial Structure

In the process of economical development, the total growth of economy largely depende d on the industrial restructuring state. A reasonably optimized industrial structure is an import ant guarantee for sustained development. Since the economic reform, Fujian's economy grew rapidly, the industrial structure optimized constantly, industrialization accelerated clearly, but Fujian's economic development still fell behind other provinces along the southeast coast. The problem of discordant industrial structure and the desynchronized labor structure with change in industrial structure has been manifest. This thesis tries to implement a thorough analysis o n Fujian industrial structure and proposes strategies for Industrial optimization to achieve sust ainable development of Fujian Province economy.This research proceeds according to the following aspects of industrial structure optimiza tion:first, the paper reviews the evolution of theories of industrial structure and current trends of both domestic and foreign industrial structure theory in order to provide a corresponding t heoretical foundation for the study; Secondly, the paper utilizes quantitative methods coupled with standard methods to analyze the three internal structures of industries and three industria 1 structures of Fujian Province by using Fujian and national statistical data, and to sum up the current situation and problems of industrial structure in Fujian Province 30 years after econom ic reform. Then, the paper proposed an objective standard of the industrial structure optimizati on for Fujian Province, and implements an in-depth analysis on demand factors and supply fa ctors for constraints of industrial structure optimization of Fujian Province. At last, the paper use the "fast-track model", adopting the 2002 input-output table data to input-output analysis method to calculate the optimal structure of three industries in Fujian Province under the bala nced growth conditions.By analysis, the research paper concluded that:the proportion of secondary industry outp ut value is too high in Fujian Province, while the proportion of tertiary industry output value i s too low, making the internal structure of the three major industries unreasonable. The serious imbalance between labor force structure and output structure is unfavorable for the long-term development of Fujian Province economy. Combined with the analysis of industrial structure in Fujian Province and on this basis to make the optimal adjustment of planning programs, thi s paper presents optimization of industrial structure adjustment measures in Fujian Province, a nd provides theoretical basis to establish a rational industrial structure and to achieve sustaina ble economic development of Fujian Province.
