The Research On The Influence Of Foreign Trade Structural Changes On The Industrial Structural Upgrading In Jiangxi Province

Since China's reform and opening-up,foreign trade in Jiangxi province has developed rapidly,and it has promoted the economic growth in Jiangxi province greatly.Now,the foreign trade has become one of the important channels of the economic growth in Jiangxi province.However,behind the prosperity of economy,it is the extensive development pattern with high pollution,high waste and poor efficiency.The cost of economic growth is rising all the times.Only under the condition of economic structure rationalization,the economic development can be more sustainable and competitive.In order to achieving the rationalization of economic structure,we need to transform current mode of economic growth.It is necessary to promote the upgrading of industrial structure further to realize this transformation.This thesis introduces the background and significance at first,then reviews and summarizes related literatures home and abroad.Thirdly,it provides a brief introduction about the theoretical basis and mechanism of influence of foreign trade structure on the upgrading of industrial structure.Fourthly,it analyzes the situation of industrial structure and foreign trade structure in Jiangxi Province from 1994 to 2013,finds the problems of them.Fifthly,multiple linear regression equation is used to analyze the influence of foreign trade structure on the upgrading of industrial structure.In the last part,this thesis puts forward the corresponding countermeasure and suggestion from the perspective of both foreign trade structure and industrial structure.In the part of theory analysis,this thesis analyzes the theoretical basis from the perspectives of theory of comparative advantage,product life cycle theory,infant industry theory,the flying-geese model and strategic trade policy theory.On this basis,this thesis summarizes the mechanism that is the foreign trade structure promotes industrial structure upgrading though factor endowment,demand,technology,international industry correlation effect.In the part of empirical analysis,this thesis collects the relevant data about the foreign trade structure and industrial structure in Jiangxi province from 1994 to 2013.These data include classified product(resource intensive,labor-intensive,capital and technology intensive products)imports and exports accounted for the proportion of total imports and exports,Thrice industrial(primary,secondary,tertiary industry)output value accounted for the proportion of GDP,the annual population in Jiangxi province,GDP per person and so on.The empirical results show that the changes in export structure have played a positive role in promoting the.However,there is no apparent correlation between the industrial structure upgrading and import structure.Therefore,we need further optimize the foreign trade structure and industrial structure in Jiangxi province.Based on the analysis of previous chapters,the last chapter puts forward some policy proposals for the foreign trade structure and industrial structure in Jiangxi province.We need to optimize the structure of exports in Jiangxi province,improve the capability of independent innovation;expand the scale of imports,introduce advanced technology actively;develop modern agriculture,promote the comprehensive development of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery;follow the new path of industrialization,enhance international competitiveness of industry;develop modern service industry,enhance the developmental level of the tertiary industry.Promoting the rationalization of the foreign trade structure is helpful to regulate and optimize the industrial structure.Only when the two make a path of coordination development,can promote economy sustained,stable and healthy development in Jiangxi province.It could help Jiangxi province to achieve the goal of economic strong province and the rise of central china.
