Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Industry Cluster And Tourism Trade In Services Research

In this dissertation, a research has been done on tourism industrial cluster and tourism service trade in Jiangsu province. The dissertation identifies and measures the size of industrial cluster in tourism with concentration degree, and based on this investigation, inspects its promotional role to the tourist service trade.This thesis utilizes the international trade, tourism, industrial economics, regional economics and present research results, analyzes basic theory of tourism industrial cluster, defines tourism industrial cluster, tourism service trade and other several concepts, and induces the tourism industrial cluster, the trade in services correlation theories for further research. Then this paper briefly introduces tourism industrial cluster and the tourist service trade's development present situation in Jiangsu province. According to the statistical data from Jiangsu province and its all administered cities, by using traveling space concentration index, the traveling space Gini's coefficient, the traveling industry concentration degree, the papers carry on the preliminary recognition to traveling industry gathering of Jiangsu province, theoretically proves the existence of tourism cluster in Jiangsu province, analyzes its historical evolution, and draws a conclusion that tourism industrial cluster in Jiangsu province has already existed since 1999, and turned to be a obvious assembling situation in 2008. On the basis of recognizing the assembling degree of tourism industrial cluster in Jiangsu province, this paper makes further recognition and computation of tourism industrial cluster's scale in Jiangsu province by using the position entropy index, and concludes that although the indication of tourism industrial cluster is more obvious, but not yet achieves the high specialized level stage, and calculates the related position entropy from 1999 to 2008. Based on the computed results of tourism industrial cluster scale, this paper inspects the relationships between tourism industrial cluster and the tourist service trade with cooperating entire examination and Grainger examination, cooperates the entire examination to the tourism industry gross income position quotient and the traveling gross income from 1999 to 2008 in Jiangsu province, and obtains that the tourism industrial cluster plays an important role to the tourist service trade development, and this gives a theoretical support for the development of tourism industrial cluster and the tourist service trade in Jiangsu province. At last this paper puts forward the related suggestions concerning the development of tourism industrial cluster promotes the development of tourist service trade in Jiangsu province.
