| City is both a center of regional activities and the congeries of economic and social activities. Every city is an economic system, but rather an open system with complexity. Since Central Place Theory has been proposed by Christaller, related research on central city and its hinterland is a hot topic of geographers .With the dependence on central cities, urban economic region composed of economic region closely related with some middle and small cities and many towns has become the subject of global economic carrier and the basic unit. Their central point in economic activity in regional economic activities has been strengthened continually. Taking central cities as cores, economic region taking city as centre with a clear division of labor and clear division of functions is the urgent needs of regional economic development. This paper chose urban economic effect region in Shandong as research object, analyzed its evolvement and characters in every stages, the evolvement mechanism and development tendency. Based on these, measures which can make sure the evolvement to right direction in future were put. This research not only can enrich the content and method in human geography, urban geography and so on, but also can provide scientific basis for the government making development policies of urban and regional economic, optimizing urban industrial structure and layout, intensifying urban function.The paper divided the stage of economic development since the reform and opening up of the Shandong Province and discussed the various stages of city architecture with the theories such as urban system theory, urban functions theory, urban economic influence areas theory, urban economic region theory, urban integration theory and other related theories, using the research methods of system theory, combining qualitative and quantitative, the combination of theory and empirical, comparison and synthesis. Next, it built a multi-index system, calculated the integrated score of each central city, and determined the rage of the economic influence area by grid ARCGIS, and then discussed the pattern changes and the influence mechanism of the urban economic influence areas. Finally, on this basis, the paper divided Shandong Province into five economic zones and put forward the integration of urban models aiming at the different economic zones in Shandong Province.Above all, the meaning and background of economic region taking city as centre and integration of urban are explained, and the status and development of this research the key issues of this paper are introduced briefly as well as basic train of thought is proposed. Based on the stage of economic development in Shandong, from urban economic zone of Shandong province, economic division of Shandong province and the cities and integration of urban are explored, with methods of systematology, the combination of qualitative and quantitative, the combination of theory and empiric, applying urban system, the function and meaning, urban economic influence regions, urban economic districts and economic region taking city as centre.(1)In this paper, Shandong province's economic development has been divided into 1979-1989, 1990-1992, 1993-2002 and 2003-2006 four phases by using Mann-Kendall method during1978 to2006. Point mutation has been pointed out in 1989, 1992, 2002 and 2006. And according to rank and scale of dub-log coordinates, use the urban system in Shandong province in each city into the map. The urban system in Shandong province shows the development of expanding the size of the cities, mega-cities to increase the absolute number of non-agricultural population, and the rapid development of small and medium-sized cities, more than a multiple of non-agricultural population. Urban system has always been to the top of the distribution of stable development of the situation, not the type of significant change; city size was a whole parallel to the characteristics of forward.(2) The multi-index system of urban centers has been established to conduct a comprehensive evaluation to identify key years of the hierarchical structure of central cities. And then application the economic impact of urban change of Shandong province in the pattern of the district. The study found : The economic impact of urban areas on Shandong province showing four changes in the trend :â‘ the economic center of gravity to the relocation of the eastern coastal areas ;â‘¡peninsula cities rise gradually affected zone ;â‘¢the differences between the cities of gap ;â‘£dynamic efficiency and equity adjustments.(3)Economic impact of urban areas is a pattern of changes in a number of stream elements (material flow, information flow). Each movement are affected by many factors a dynamic, complex, nonlinear process. In this paper, the economic impact of urban areas on the changes has been discussed in the mechanism from the level of economic development; traffic access rate; the humanities and social factors; nature and location factors.(4)Based on the economic impact in urban areas, provide the Shandong province into Jinan city economic zones; Zibo-Dongying city economic area; Jining-Zaozhuang city economic Area; Qingdao city economic area; Yantai-Weihai city economic Area. From inter-city and urban areas within the two cities in Shandong province put forward the integration of models and put forward the chat to JI-Qing-Liao ; Ri-He ; Jing-Hu and along the coast inter-regional linkages .This article strives for breakthrough in such aspects:(1) Founded on the determination of the border of economic region, build multiple index system, and use the shortest traffic path in place of the straight course, then take the comprehensive score as core city's central index, with ARCGIS grid method get the range of economic region, in order to break the administrative district economic pattern, and transforms to urban economic region.(2)Many scholars did researches on Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations, but little study was done of southwest Shandong. Based on the division of urban economic region, this paper is concerned about the integrated relation between all urban agglomerations, and proposes inter-district passages of rihe and jinghu to contact peninsula urban agglomerations and southwest Shandong, then integrates cities from the range of province. |
