Economy and politics play an important role in the Sino-US bilateral trade, while continual and diversified trade conflicts between the two countries impede the healthy development of their economic and trade relationship.It has become a critical problem to study Sino-US trade conflicts and the reasons behind it in order to find corresponding solutions to eliminate or reduce the conflicts, for favorable trade relationship and China's better political position.The first chapter is an introduction explaining why I select this topic, the major tasks and research methods as well as the framework.The second chapter, based on the summary of Sino-US trade development, analyzes the general features of different forms and historical stage of trade conflicts.The third chapter sums up the micro and macro trade friction theories established since the Neo-protectionism, which serves as theoretical foundation of the study of Sino-US trade conflicts. Founding the conventional foreign theory hard to explain, this thesis probe into the political economic research of trade conflicts which integrates international politics, public choice and game theory.The forth chapter investigates American political system and interest groups , then further explore the reason of Sino-US trade conflicts under political research framework, respectively from the perspective of game theory and government welfare function.On the basis of the previous studies, the last chapter provides some conclusion of the whole thesis and suggestions for avoiding and solving the Sino-US trade conflicts.
