Knowledge management has received increased attention from academics and practitioners since it was proposed at 1990s. And now, how to build a complete theory of knowledge management and set it as a separate discipline to found is the crucial problem. We face challenges in respect of this problem because it is a complex area which is composed of many concepts and theories come from many disciplines such as economics, strategic management, information management, organization behaviors, organization culture and computer science and so on. A rudimentary challenge is which assumption of the knowledge management theory is build on.The dissertation indicates that knowledge management is built on the theory of business capability after the analysis of strategic management and business theory. On this assumption, this dissertation builds a model of knowledge management theory based on the perspective of process with the attempt to found relatively complete knowledge management theory. This dissertation believes that four kinds of knowledge exist in a corporation organization: individual tacit knowledge, individual explicit knowledge, organization explicit knowledge and organization tacit knowledge. And the organization tacit knowledge (organization culture) is important to the entire capability of enterprise organization. And between the transformations of four kinds of knowledge, there are two kinds of different but relative processes: organization learning and organization knowledge creation. This dissertation discusses organization tacit knowledge, organization learning and organization knowledge creation and basically formed a relatively complete knowledge management theory on process.
