Study Of The Relationship Between The Entrepreneurial Environment And Entrepreneurial Opportunities

Over the last decade, the issue of entrepreneurship has attracted more and more people's attention. The entrepreneurial actions are always emerged and developed in a particular environment. As a result, the whole entrepreneurial activities will be affected by the environment. In addition, the entrepreneurial opportunity which is the initial stage of the activity always has an important impact on the activities. This paper studies the entrepreneurial activities in two aspects, entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial opportunities.After study the theory about the entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial opportunity in domestic and abroad, we take David Gnyawali and Daniel S. Fogel's opinion on entrepreneurial environment. That is the framework of five dimensions. For the evaluation of entrepreneurial opportunities, we do the study from the quantity, quality, growth, utilization rates, as well as the application. Through questionnaire, we collect the data about the enterprises in Xi'an and then after we analyze the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial environment to entrepreneurial opportunity, the conclusion will offer reference for optimizing the entrepreneurial environment and improving the entrepreneurial opportunity.Through empirical study, the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1. The indicators under the framework of five dimensions are positively associated with the entrepreneurial opportunity.2. The relationship between the five dimensions and the entrepreneurial opportunity:(1)Socio-economic conditions,the government's financial support and non-financialsupport in the five dimensions of entrepreneurial environment have significant positive correlations with entrepreneurial opportunity.(2)Socio-economic conditions,the government's financial support and non-financial support have a significant predictive power for entrepreneurial opportunity.
