The rural laborer tide has made excellent contribution to China’s economic development since the1980s, and up to this day, the rural laborer group has already appeared generation stratification that the new generations of rural laborers which take up more than half of the group have come on the stage. Compared to the last generations, the new generations of rural laborers got better educations, higher career expectation and owned more substance and spirit inquiry demand, because of the growth environment improving, so they wish to change their living situation by entrepreneurship, not working for others. But the new generations need theoretical and practical guidance seriously as they are surrounded by much difficulties resulting from their youth age, lacking experience and deficient entrepreneurship knowledge.The scholar concept of the new generations of rural laborers has already entered the research vision, but the new generations’entrepreneurship has not obtained sufficient achievement, as on the started stage. And there are only a few researches about the new generations’entrepreneurial motivation, no research about the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial models.Therefore, based on the existing literatures, our study explored the relationship between the new generations’entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial models by a method of qualitative research and quantitative research mixed together. At the qualitative research stage, we gather the original data about the new generations’ entrepreneurship, and then make the analysis on it along the grounded theory request, getting an original theoretical mode on the relationship of the new generations’ entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial models and the research hypotheses on the moderating effect of entrepreneurial resource and entrepreneurial opportunities. At the quantitative research stage, firstly we make the questionnaire on the new generations’entrepreneurship according to the mode and hypotheses in the last stage, and then confirm the items of the entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial resource, entrepreneurial opportunities and entrepreneurial models scales by the reliability analysis and validity analysis, thirdly gather the formal questionnaire research data conducting the further the reliability and validity analysis, at last we take the structural equation model to examine the theoretical mode on the relationship of the new generations’entrepreneurial motivation and models, and take the hierarchical regression to check the moderating effect of entrepreneurial resource and opportunities, obtaining the conclusions as follows:First, by means of grounded theory, the new generation rural laborers’ entrepreneurial motivation is abstracted into three aspects:economical motivation, social motivation and achievement motivation, and the entrepreneurial models two aspects:necessity entrepreneurship and opportunity entrepreneurship, and the explanations to these five concepts were given.Second, on the aspect of correlation, the new generations’economical motivation has a positive correlation with the necessity entrepreneurship, a negative correlation with the opportunity entrepreneurship; and the social motivation has a positive correlation with the opportunity entrepreneurship, and the achievement motivation has a positive correlation with the necessity entrepreneurship, a positive correlation with the opportunity entrepreneurship.Third, the moderating effect of entrepreneurial resource is not significant between the new generations’economical motivation and necessity entrepreneurship, as well as the social motivation and opportunity entrepreneurship; however significant between the achievement motivation and opportunity entrepreneurship.Forth, the moderating effect of entrepreneurial opportunities is not significant between the economical motivation and opportunity entrepreneurship, and the same between the social motivation, achievement motivation and opportunity entrepreneurship.In the end, some advice is given to the new generations’entrepreneurship according to the research process and conclusions, and some expectation to the future research.
