The competitions among different companies are more and more ferocious with the rapid progress of economic globalization and advanced technology. If we say the quality of the product & customer service are the foundation of the company, technology is the guarantee of company's development, then people must be the core factor to ensure the company can be dominant in the market competition. If the company wants to gain more profit, must starts from the headstream, which is to pay more attention to their employees' benefit, to know what they want and what they really need. Under such circumstance, "employee satisfaction survey" is eventually used more and more in different companies among different industries.Multinational companies, especially those Fortune 500 companies,they have both advanced management system and flexible marketing pattern.Furthermore, compare with other companies, Fortune 500 companies havetheir own methodology in hiring, training and people retention. Theyalways pay high attention on "employee satisfaction survey" and takeeffective action plans to address those low lights.This research is conducted thru survey and target at Intel China employees, out of the total 220 questionnaires; I receive 202 valid questionnaires with the valid return rate as 92%. In addition to the"descriptive statistics" used in this study, I also used other statistic methods such as "variance analysis" , "means analysis" and"regression" . The conclusion got through those analysis are as following:1. The employees' satisfaction are lower in working location, workload, promotion, compensation & benefits, challenge of the job and career path; However, the score is higher in company culture, background and the contribution to the society2. Employees' satisfaction increased with the sequence of job itself, job return, working environment and company itself3. Employees' satisfaction scores vary greatly in workload, challenge of the job, career path, training opportunity and the convenience of working location 4. Gender and Intel length of service have no significant impact tooverall employees' satisfaction; Marriage, age, education, city, dept andposition have significant impact to the overall employees' satisfactionThe statistic results of this research can provide more details fromdifferent aspects to help company understand how their employees valuatethe company. The analysis also shows the different factors whichinfluence the employee satisfaction and their impact to different groupof people, it can help every department managers and HR to develop morepertinent and effective action plans to improve employee satisfactionso that organization objective can be better achieved.
