With the arrival of economic globalization, competition expands widely and is acting more fiercely. Talent especially senior management talent becomes the most competitive kernel resources. Human resource development and management has become an emergent issue for most companies since the traditional one can not reach the requirement of this era. And of course, as the core of Human resource management, the performance evaluation plays a more and more important role.Citing the GT company as an example, this paper points out that the performance management is the most urgent issue for its development with a thorough understanding of current status and outside environment of the company. Referring to the performance evaluation theory, this essay also creates a new performance evaluation system after a systematic research on the performance evaluation theory and a analysis of GT Company's current performance evaluation system. Based on these, the function and structure of the performance evaluation system are concluded. The performance evaluation system, which operates on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and programmed with VB.NET focus mainly on the management, calculation and printing for those system data and evaluating data, which greatly improved the efficiency of the evaluation work.The real practice of GT Company's evaluation system shows us satisfying results. It could be referred by companies of the same field.
