It has never been an easy thing for an enterprise to be successful in today's fast changing world. "The competitiveness of an enterprise that is really sustainable and uncopiable lies in its organizational capability."Replacing stability, fluctuation has become a major characteristic of the organization today. Managers and organizers are facing great challenges, including globalization, fast-changing, e-commerce, intellectual and information management, variety of supports, etc, which is changing the organizational structure and management practice. As the era of intellectual economy has come, an enterprise's capabilities determine its status in competition. Generally, organizational structure is subordinated to corporate strategy, which is determined by the organization capability of the enterprise. From this aspect, innovative organizational structure is an inevitable requirement of the organizational capability of the enterprise.At present, corporate organizational capability is interpreted in various way and there is no strict definition. Researches on organizational capability may be conducted in various ways. Analysis in this article is made on the basis of organizational structure mode. This article, starting with the formation and characteristics of organizational capability, introduces the concept of organizational capability and concludes the importance of organizational capability as to enterprises.In a context of fierce competition, organizational capability of an enterprise determines the long-term competitiveness. This article, from aspect of organizational structure mode, analyzes the relationship and interaction between organizational structure and organizational capability. Organizational capability, which can be described as an internal channel within the enterprise, is determined by organizational structure, which is constantly changing and developing. Since implementation of China's Open-up Policy, the organizational mode of Chinese enterprises has been greatly improved under the great competition nationally and internationally. Some large and medium state-owned enterprises has abandoned their backward organizational modes and established new corporate organizational modes, which are suitable for themselves. Taking Beijing Peony Group as an example at the end, this article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the Group in terms of its products, assets, productivity, human resource, resources and brand and proposes a general idea and assumption for its future adjustment and development. Upon careful study and analysis, it is concluded that mechanism, product, capital and talented personnel are major issues obscuring the enterprise from development. The fundamental solution of Peony Group is to adjust its corporate organizational capability. Only when strategies, organization and personnel are in accord with each other, will the company finally achieve the goal of success.
