At knowledge economic age, innovation is an important source of sustainable competitive advantage for enterprises. After30years’ development, Chinese enterprises still don’t have sufficient innovations, especially lack of influential innovation results. On the one hand, as a late-development country, Technological catch-up situation and non-contiguous market characteristics drive Chinese enterprises to face the innovative dilemma of exploring new technologies and improving existing technologies. On the other hand, there is no agreed conclusion about what kind of relationship, contradictory competition or supplementary complementarity, rests between exploration and exploitation, which has hence resulted a total controversy about whether organizational ambidexterity helps companies to get competitive advantages. As a consequence, it would practically and theoretically contribute a lot, to the field of organization learning, to explore the influence of organizational ambidexterity on firms’innovative performance.Organizational ambidexterity(OA) is divided into balanced dimension of ambidexterity(BD) and combined dimension of ambidexterity(CD), of which the influence on innovation performance would be studied respectively. In the meanwhile, it is argued in the article that the internal conditional factors are the most fundamental factors that affect the relationship between OA and innovative performance. While knowledge serves as the object of organizational learning, R&D stuff as the carrier, it would be both theoretically and practically meaningful to start from a perspective of network, to explore the moderating effect-of organization internal knowledge network as well as the collaboration network-on the relationship between OA and firms’innovative performance. This paper chooses the global semiconductor companies listed in the US as the research subject. With the help of database technique, text mining technique, social network analysis technique, and key variables construction via SQL, Java, and R, an efficient sample of63companies with10years (1991-2000) data has been finally selected. Through the negative binomial regression on the panel data it could be concluded that:first, BD has a statistically significant and negative effect on the company innovation performance whereas CD has a statistically significant and positive effect; second, organization internal collaboration network density negatively moderates the relationship between BD and innovation performance as well as the relationship between CD and innovation performance; last but not the least, the modularity of organization internal knowledge network shows a positive moderating effect on both the relationship between balanced OR and innovation performance and the relationship between united OR and innovation performance.
