Manufacturing Enterprises In China To The Investigation And Analysis Of Performance Excellence Model

The 21st century is an era of economic globalization and knowledge economy. Economic globalization requires resources be optimally allocated on a global scale. Competition among enterprises is expanding on a global scale. With the advent of the knowledge economy, the focus of competition is changing from quantity to quality. Personalized customer demand and the production of variety but small batches are going into the mainstream. In order to win customers and limited resources and live in the increasingly fierce competition, a growing number of enterprises are aware of that the key of wining in the competition is creating value, and quality is the core of customer value, so creating customer value through quality is becoming core strategy of a large number of enterprises. After more than a century of development, the quality means not only the quality of products or services, but also the value created for customers, employees and the community. Its purpose is pursuiting excellence business and performance. Excellence Performance Model is becoming the new model of international quality management.This paper introduces the background, research situation, basic idea and 11 core values of Excellence Performance Model. Nowadays, the study of Excellence Performance Model is mainly theoretical study or empirience introduction. This paper constructs the structural equation model of Excellence Performance Model, basing on the Baldrige Award and the GB/T19580-2004 "Excellence Performance Model" publicated by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. Then this paper fits and amends the model through the national quality survey data, and gets the ultimate model. The validity and reliability of the model is also analyzed in the end. By researching, this paper finds the quantitative relationship amoung all items of Excellence Performance Model. Finally this paper gives a reasonable explanation for the ultimate model, and points out the problems that Chinese manufacturing enterprises should pay attention to.
