With the rapid development of social economy and the accelerating pace of urbanization,China's urban scale is expanding day by day and the population density is increasing.The problems such as ecological destruction,traffic congestion and rising crime rate are also gradually emerging,which has seriously affected people's quality of life.Therefore,livable cities have gradually become people's demands and desire,and building a livable city has become the goal and direction of modern city transformation and development.As an important coastal open city in the Bohai Rim region,Cangzhou is facing the opportunities and challenges brought by “The Belt and Road” and the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.Based on the first-hand data obtained from the questionnaire survey,the paper makes a comprehensive evaluation of the current livable level of Cangzhou by using descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation model from residents' satisfaction with the livability of Cangzhou,and deeply explores the influencing factors.This is not only conducive to supplementing and improving the relevant theoretical and practical research of livable cities,but also provides some guidance for the construction and development of livable cities.This paper first reviews the theoretical research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on livable cities.According to the specific situation and development characteristics of Cangzhou,the livability evaluation index system of Cangzhou is constructed from six aspects: economic level,urban safety,public facilities,ecological environment,human environment and housing conditions.Then through the way of questionnaire survey,using the method of multi-stage sampling,quota sampling and convenient sampling,the first-hand data is obtained by sending out questionnaires to selected places in two municipal districts of Cangzhou.The entropy method is used to empower the evaluation index,and the overall satisfaction score is calculated to be 63.37.The satisfaction scores of economic level,urban safety,public facilities,ecological environment,human environment,and housing conditions are 58.48,66.12,63.89,62.87,65.97,63.43.And connection with the practical situation,thelivability of Cangzhou is evaluated comprehensively.Next,using the method of structural equation model,the theoretical model is constructed.Based on the subjective evaluation survey data of urban residents,the second-order confirmatory structural equation model is established to get the path coefficient of various influencing factors.According to the path coefficient of the structural equation,effect of various influencing factors on the livability of Cangzhou is discussed.The results show that the influence coefficients of the six potential variables are city safety,public facilities,human environment,housing conditions,ecological environment,and economic level in descending order.Among the observed variables;social integrity has the greatest influence on livable satisfaction.Finally,based on the comprehensive analysis of the main factors affecting the livability of Cangzhou and the degree of each factor,the paper puts forward relevant improvement measures and suggestions.
