In the 21st century, the automobile industry has become an indispensable industry all over the world, and automobile components industry is the upstream of the world's automobile industry, which occupy more and more important position in the entire chain of the automobile industry. In the global automobile industrial value chain, it accounts for 50 percent of the total value chain. Automobile components industry is the basis for the development of the automobile industry, and 70% value-added is created by automobile components industry.Automobile components industry enterprises are in the center of raw materials suppliers'upstream and downstream master factories, under the dual pressure of higher cost of raw materials and the decrease of master factory's procurement cost, the benefit of these enterprise generally worrisome.Lean Production is the third milestone in the industrialization history and a revolutionary management and production method and practice mode. Its core idea is to reduce waste and to build a highly flexible, highly efficient production system. It represents the development direction of modern manufacturing industry, as the"The standards of manufacturing production in 21st century"Therefore, how to execute the Lean Production, to reduce the costs and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, has become an urgent problem in front of all automobile components enterprises.On the other hand, in the automobile manufacturing industry, in order to reduce its inventory pressures, and to prevent the supply shortage in the supply chain, the master factories had brought forward that the supplier could establish the Interim Inventory (satellite warehouses) in their surroundings, the property of the products in the Interim Inventory belongs to the supplier, and the enterprise client in charge of the routine maintenance custody. Only when the products in warehouses are drawn by the downstream enterprises and consumed, then ownership transfers and the enterprise client pay in agreed price to the supplier. The costs of the routine maintenance custody of the Interim Inventory come from suppliers. This inequality of the suppliers and the enterprise clients'share on the Interim Inventory's cost is also very pronounced due to the strong tendency of one side in today's automobile manufacturing industry. Along with the enhancement of the cooperation between the suppliers and enterprise clients, as well as the development of information technology and the cognition to its importance, the relationship between the suppliers and enterprise clients is being gradually improved. Through the agreements between the suppliers and enterprise clients, the suppliers can understand the needs of enterprise clients, on the basis of this forecasts will be conducted, then take the initiative to supply and replenish. Even via EDI (Electric Data Interchange) and bar code technology, real-time OOS (Out Of Stock) information will be sent out to suppliers then the suppliers gasp the information on requirement, and replenish the goods. Based on this the timely supply formed.T corporation is a foreign-owned enterprises founded by T Investment Group in Shanghai in May, 2002. this corporation mainly engaged in production of the steering wheel and other auto parts, the products of the company mainly supplies to Shanghai Volkswagen, Guangzhou Honda, and South Korea's Daewoo and other big customers.T Corporation's Lean Production System formed by five components, namely: just-in-time production JIT, continuous improvement CIP, Team work, Total Quality Management TQM and concurrent engineering.As the needs of customers, T Corporation supplies the goods to Shanghai Volkswagen, Guangzhou Honda, as well as new projects of South Korea's Daewoo. As the space problem, to Shanghai Volkswagen, T Corporation adopt the way of direct supply, to Guangzhou Honda, the way of supply in sort from Interim Inventory is used, and to South Korea's Daewoo, as it involves foreign trade, shipping and other processes, so the corporation commissioned a logistics company took its job in the way of supply in sort. In the process, there are also some problems and deficiencies as well as some areas where improvement is needed in front of T Corporation.This paper hopes that though the analysis of T Corporation's Lean Production and timely supply process, give the domestic enterprises in automobile industry a reference.
