21st century is characterized with globalization. With the development of production ability and the speeding up of world economic integration process, cross-cultural human resource management is becoming more and more important.This dissertation takes a multinational company's Chinese branch company as research object, in order to resolve its problems of cross-cultural human resource management; the author introduces the conception of competency and culture intelligence which is used to measured the cross-culture adaptability. The author collected the related data by questionnaires and accessing .According to these data, three aspects of research have been done:(1) According to the definition of competency, cross-cultural adaptability is identified to be one kind of competency.(2) After correlate and linear regression analysis, we find that it is cognitive culture intelligence that shows significant influence for employee's performance.(3) Using the multiple linear regression analysis to identify the influential factors for culture intelligence, we find that emotional control, emotional application and emotional self-awareness show significant influence .On the other hand, overseas experiences and cross-culture teamwork experiences also affect one's culture intelligence obviously.Combining the research results and the accessing material, the author building competency model for company F, and then discusses how to apply this model in human management practice.
