In recent years, vegetable safety issue has draw great attention from people all around the world. Enterprise, as an important part of vegetable supply chain, the efficiency of its quality control mechanism influences vegetable industry directly. On the basis of survey of 166 enterprises in Zhejiang province, this paper carries out a detailed and thoroughgoing research on their current situation as well as the development of their quality control mechanism by statistic analysis methods.This paper is made up of seven chapters. Chapter one introduces research background and paper's framework. Chapter two outlines basic theories and research in correlative fields. Chapter three concludes the achievements and problems of safe vegetable industry. Based on Chapter four, an empirical research model, Chapter five analyzes the characteristics of enterprises and their quality control system. Chapter six primarily shows the result of variance analysis and builds a Binary Logistic regression model to analyze the relationship between enterprises' selection willingness and influenced factors. Chapter seventh according to above six chapters gives main conclusions and raises some questions for further research.The results of the investigation indicate that the market is the most important motivate for enterprise to build quality control system and social institution plays a big role in arrangement of quality control system. Farmers' weak awareness of food safety and their opportunism behaviors formed serious problem faced by enterprise with respect to quality control. Enterprises' selections of quality controls are deeply affected by pressures from target-market. The characteristics of enterprise and its supply chain relationship influence its utility perception of existing quality control system; therefore influence its willingness to choose about further development of quality control system.
