As an important process of project management, the project control is a critical factor. Except the quality of plan, schedule, cost and quality are the main three goals for a construction project. Because of the close relation of these three goals, a important thing in the project management is control these in the same time, and this is also the need of integration management.Now, a lot of techniques of control are presented as methods of pan and optimize of plan, the real techniques of control in these integration methods is earned value management, which is the most important and be wild used technique. But the research of earned value management in our country is not enough, so this paper is for the purpose to research the earned management from theory and practice on the base of lot' s of past research paper.In first chapter, this paper has concludes the theory and technique of the goal control of construction project management, indicated the importance of earned value management;In the second chapter, this paper has reviewed huge paper which researched the earned value management in our country, and concluded the change of research and application in our country, presented the questions that need to resolve and the develop aspect in the future.In the third chapter, this paper has introduced the essence theory of the earned value management, and presented some methods to prove its shortage;In the fourth chapter, this paper has focused on the limitation of the earned value management in aspect of schedule, and has introduced the improve methods from theory and practice: presented the conception of ES, and extended the forecasting index of completion duration; and gave a new method called uncertainty element forecasting method for the purpose of forecast the estimate and duration at completion more perfect;concluded the new parameters and indexes of the proved earned valuemanagement, and gave the different analyses methods in different indexcombine.In the fifth chapter, this paper has introduced how to use the provedearned value management and how to calculate these indexes, and concludedthe excellence and difficult question of the new earned value managementby using a real example of a construction project.In the last chapter, this paper has conclude the main results of theresearch, and the limitation of this paper, and indicated the researchaspect in the future.This paper has followed the thought of combine the research of theoryand practice, used not only the qualitative analysis but also thequantitative analysis methods. In one aspect explained the theory by qualitative analysis, and in another aspect using real example to achieve the purpose of quantitative analysis.Generally, this paper indicated the further research aspect by improving the theory and researching the method of practice; achieved the goal of making the earned value management more perfect; improved the earned value management by presented the uncertainty element forecasting method; concluded the difficult process in using the earned valued management by a real example, and gave the reference of the practice step and helped to extending the practice area.
