Pdm Secondary Development

This paper discussed the application of PDM (Product Data Management) in enterprise, and combined with practical condition, the author optimized the Design of Change Management Module and Design of Process Management Module in which some were not suitable for the Practical application of the enterprise in PDM system by the secondary development. Meanwhile, this paper, introduced and compared to the development and application of the two management modules.As to Design of Data Management Module in PDM system, there is no necessary to discuss the application because it is more mature and is widely used in practical application of enterprise. But, as to Design of Change Management Module and Design of Process Management Module and position of the two modules in PDM of enterprise, it is necessary to do the further development in order to apt to the need of enterprise because of superficiality of application in enterprise. By the secondary development of the last two management modules, there is formed actually demanded PDM in enterprise. At the same time, the author verifies the feasibility of system and demonstrates the validity and usability of redevelopment.The development of this project aims to supply a stability base and practical approaches for application of PDM in enterprise, so there is more important basically applicative value.
