The fast development of information technology brings forward both opportunities and challenges to the enterprises of China. The coming era will be an information age, and those who take a lead in the undergoing information revolution will get advantages in the future international competition. After China's admission to the WTO, Chinese enterprises put an urgent demand on the enterprise information architecture. Today's competition is based on the economy of speed rather than on the economy of scale. In order to promote the management renovation, improve the enterprise quality, and eventually increase the competition power, the enterprises need to speed up the construction of the enterprise information architecture. Now, most of the tobacco quality testing stations in China have set up their own local area networks, and used the functional software systems to manage data, while the design and development of the software systems is different. According to the results of investigation, the differentiating and testing results of the forged and adulterate cigarettes obtained by the tobacco quality testing stations in China were not managed by the information-oriented software system in the year of 2004.The differentiating and testing of the forged and adulterate cigarettes is a highly specialized job, and related closely to the policy. The heavy workload need to be processed in a short time, and the accuracy requirement is high. Therefore, the construction of the enterprise information architecture provides an opportunity and objective assistance to the renovation of the differentiating result management. To apply the scientific management, and ensure the scientific, just and authoritative differentiation of the forged and adulterate cigarettes, the information-oriented software system for the cigarettes differentiation should be planed and constructed. And the information-oriented software system will promote the management of cigarettes differentiation and testing in Yunnan Province. Improving the management of the quality testing information with the assistance of modern information technology is the problem to be solved. This article focused on the development of a information management system based on Netcase Anywhere, and its application in the differentiating and testing of the forged and adulterate cigarettes in Yunnan Tobacco Quality Testing Station.
