Landless Peasants' Rights In The Process Of Urbanization Security Research

With the rapid urbanization development in China, land-lost peasants have gradually become a special group in the society. They are no longer the peasants on traditional meaning for they lost their farmland, and they are not the real citizens for they are jobless and have no social security. Poverty-stricken and legitimate rights and interests not being protected, the land-lost peasants are of social vulnerable group. As the contradiction aroused therefore is increasing day by day, land-lost peasants have been a topic of general concerns, and the research on seeking for the protection to them has important theoretical value and realistic significance.The thesis analyzed the current status of the land-lost peasants deeply and realistically. It firstly discussed the cause of the land-lost peasants, and then further analyzed their straits on life, employment, social security, rights and interests. Their rights of existence are facing challenges, and their rights of development are being restrained.Land-lost peasants losing their rights and interests were caused by four reasons: the society of duality with urban and rural segmentation is the system factor; the defects of rural land system are the ultimate cause; the faultiness of rural land requisition system is the direct cause; the lack of rural social security is an important factor.The protection of the rights and interests to the land-lost peasants is the fundamental requirement to the constructions of socialism harmonious society and socialism new countryside. In view of the causes of the land-lost peasants lacking rights and interests, and combined with the basic national conditions, the thesis put forwards relevant solutions to protect the rights and interests of these peasants: structuring the social foundation for the protection to these peasants' rights and interests by overall-planning of urban and rural society development; Setting up system protection to these peasants by innovating rural land system; Setting up the mechanism protection to these peasants by standardizing the rural land requisition system; perfecting the rural society protection system is the basis for the protection to these peasants' rights and interests.
