Employment Structure In The Process Of Urbanization

Urbanization is a process, which caused by economic development and technological innovation. In this process, people leave the rural and gather to the urban, accompanying the change of city's economic structure and industrial structure. Labor, as one of the basic factors of production, exists in the form of employment. It makes economic and industrial organic combination through the employment structure, and then makes the main content of urbanization. With the process of urbanization, economic growth and industrial transformation not only create new employment opportunities, but also lead to urban employment structure change, employment and unemployment exist at the same time. Only when the employment structure in line with urbanization, both two can complement each other, interrelated and develop together.This paper analyzes the employment structure and urbanization in Yunnan Province on the basis of Chinese and foreign experience. It examines the relationship between urbanization and employment structure, which context of rapid economic development. Purpose is to explore the interactions between the factors and changes in the law. Hope to solve the problem of labor employment in the process of urbanization and make some useful to economic development of Yunnan Province. In this study, the employment structure changes is defined as the structure of employment among three industries, the changes between agriculture and non-agricultural labor force and the changes in the quality of skills.The first part is an introduction. The second part illustrates the relationship between urbanization and employment structure changes, and introduces the theory of analysis and study of domestic and international situation. The third part discusses the general law of urbanization and employment structure changes. The fourth part analyzes the deviation between employment structure and urbanization in Yunnan Province. Then calculate the deviation coefficient on the basic of the error factor theory of urbanization and the employment structure, and analyze the reasons and characteristics. The fifth part analyzes the main problem of employment structure changes, which exist in the process of urbanization in Yunnan Province. The sixth part put forward some suggestions, which can optimize the employment structure base on former conclusions.
