Analysis On Industrial Structure Evoluation And The Effect Of The Economic Growth In Xinjiang

Industrial structure is the basis and core of economic structure. In the course of the modern economic growth, industrial structure and economic development are closely related. A country or a region's economic development process not only for the performance of the gross national product growth, and with the evolution of the industrial structure.In this paper, empirical analysis of the evolution of Xinjiang's industrial structure and the effect on economic growth in 1978-2006.And the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure were made in Xinjiang.Empirical analysis showed:The overall pattern of the industrial structure has a change in Xinjiang. The dominant pattern of the second and third industries has formation in the national economy; faster conversion industries, the industrial structure by the low level to the high state of development, conversion and reasonable direction, but poor stability of industrial development, industrial development instability, low level of industrial structure, the structure of benefits is rather poor, the industrial structure and employment structure is asymmetric.That is one-way Granger causality between industrial structure evolution and the economic growth in Xinjiang. From a long-term trend, the evolution of industrial restructuring has obvious effects of growth in Xinjiang, but industrial structure did not change significantly affected on economic growth of Xinjiang. Analysis showed:that the first industry to the minimum contribution to economic growth, the second industry has become a pillar of economic growth, the largest contribution to economic growth, the slow development of tertiary industry in general, the smaller contribution to economic growth Industrial structure changes on economic growth each year is different, from 1978 to 2006 changes in the structure of economic growth to an average of 0.4497%, accounting for the same period the proportion of the GDP growth rate averaged 4.20%. Overall, the industrial structure changes is not high in Xinjiang.
