| Industrial structure has a close relationship with economic growth. The relationship is also one of key issues in industrial economics. Currently, scholars both home and abroad agree that industrial structure is the result of previous period of economic growth and the basis of next period of economic growth, adjustment of which has become one of key factors in economic growth. In modern economic growth, industrial structure and economic growth are interdependent, and mutually supportive. Whether in developed or developing countries, to guarantee a sustainable and stable economic development, evolution and strategic adjustment of industrial structure should be focused on. This paper, based on researches of former scholars, analyzes this relationship with the economic integration of Urumqi and Changji autonomous state.The paper mainly adopts econometrical analysis to study the relationship between industrial structure and economic growth in the integration, aiming at revealing this relationship and providing theoretical support for proposing reasonable policies. The paper includes mainly two parts: 1, historical review over adjustment of industrial structure in economic growth since opening and reform policy until now by basic statistical description in order to obtain a basic understanding of adjustment trend and existing problems in this area; 2, empirical research on this relationship in the area by econometrical analysis including Granger cause test, co-integration, error correction model and factor analysis etc. The purpose is to reveal this relationship and the contribution of tertiary industry upon economic growth so that an effective way of optimizing industrial structure can be explored and reasonable countermeasures in adjusting economic growth pattern can be proposed. |
