The issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area have become prominent and unavoidable problems in the process of our country's development. The government has always valued those problems highly and has made great efforts to solve them during the last three decades. However, things are still severe due to several historical real reasons. That is, agricultural productivity is low, countryside infrastructure is poor, increasing peasants'income is difficult and the gap between countryside and city is widening. Thus, we must seize every opportunity to advance the rural reform development, promote rural economic growth and make all people share the fruits of reform and opening up.This paper contains four parts as follows. The stage, content and aim of the rural reform development in our county are introduced in the first part, which also reflects the background and significance of this study. Then, L Village is chosen as the research object and its concrete practices are discussed in the second part, followed by an analysis of its reform outcomes and a summary of its experiences in the next part. Although its agricultural production has been increased, peasants'incomes have been enhanced and village appearance has been improved, L Village is still standing on the starting line of modern development and it is facing some problems that are specially analyzed. Aiming at these situations, the final part of this paper brings up some related counter measures and suggestions. The research methodologies applied in this study are literature review, investigation, systematic analysis and interviews. Unlike previous studies, this one is a combination of traditional rural reform theory and the concrete practice in a real village as well as a practical support for further studies.
