Knowledge staff is the source of the core competency wellhead for an organization and salary payment is the important aspect to attract, employ, cultivate and reserve them. However, owing to the restrictions of the traditional salary system, the payment to knowledge staff exists various problems such as insufficient incentives, unbalanced demands, so there are still some problems about organizing the knowledge staff, which makes them difficult to exert their values.Seeing from the development of history and the worldwide practice of the compensation pattern, there are several types of compensation patterns as follow. The first type is piece work. It mainly applies to the traditional simple production enterprise and requires that the working process simplifies. As the social productive forces rise, it can not satisfy the need for allocating compensation and job-based pay and skill-based pay arise. Job-based pay achieves the allocation of the compensation according to their work, which makes the employee pay more attention to promotion to get more salary and breeds a bureaucracy. Skill-based pay relates technical ability level to compensation, which makes an employee pay attention to raising the technical ability. However, it calls for strict cost, which can't motivates the employee by compensation. After 90's of the 20th century, for good answer the market compete and improve the company's competion, they get much more explore, than appear market-oriented compensation,Executive Stock Option and integration system, but in all, Traditional salary payment patterns exist limitations in stimulating knowledge staff in their own aspect.broadband compensation through increase band to reduse the pay grade,carry out little grade multilevel,good satisfying company flatting organization, decentralization need.make promption more agility and adjustion,can be under the premise of basic role, better satisfying individuality of knowledge staff need and stimulating knowledge staff. Therefore, it is important for the development of the enterprise and the knowledge staff by applying the broadband salary to knowledge staff.This thesis applies broadband compensation to knowledge staff administration, uses home and abroad relevance research result, and is tied to a large amount of data analysis, and designs broadband salary payment model to knowledge staff. Based on that, the model provides theory direction and implement support to Chinese enterprise management on knowledge staff. Through the analysis of the current situation and deficiency by D company, show the model'theory,opreation and problem solve,. For Chinese enterprises to promote knowledge staff compensation management with some guidance.
