Most of the high-tech enterprises is a knowledge and technology-intensiveenterprises, high-tech manufacturing as a form of technology companies, most of theremaining employees are basically belong to the knowledge employees, except theproduction line operators. High-tech manufacturing companies are different fromtraditional enterprise; therefore this request establishes a set of the salary managementsystem to suit the high tech manufacture enterprise characteristic.Compensation management is the critical issue in human resource management.Whether compensation system design is reasonable, whether has the externalcompetitiveness and adapt to the internal operating environment for enterprises,directly to the important impact on the functioning and development of the enterprise.The pay system which is advanced and adapted to the corporate environment canenhance employee’s satisfaction, improve employee engagement and to be the mostpowerful tool to further attract, motivate and retain talent.In the first place, this article describes the related theory of compensation andbroadband compensation and introduces the theory of incentive and performanceappraisal at the same time. In the second place, this article takes a Wholly OwnedForeign Enterprise of Shenzhen, hi-tech manufacture enterprise SAL Corporation asan example, through the interview and survey by the external consulting company,based on the method of linking theory with practice, analyzes the existing problemand influence factors of SAL Corporation’s compensation system, proposed theproposal of the new compensation system design, namely construct a broadbandcompensation system. After describe the reasons of implementing broadbandcompensation system, the article also through simply introduce the domestic andforeign research situation and further draw out the principle of design, the flow step ofthe broadband compensation system of SAL Corporation. Establish the internal equityand external competitive by job analysis, job evaluation and external salary survey.Finally design out a feasible project to demonstrate that the new broadbandcompensation system is scientific and systematic.Once SAL Corporation adopts the broadband compensation system which designing for SAL Corporation, on the one hand, it can achieves internal equity andexternal competitive. And secondly, also implements the incentives for employees,truly achieves the goals of corporate’s compensation strategy from the basic andultimate realize the win-win between the enterprise and the employees.Finally this article analyzes the advantages and limitations of designing thebroadband compensation system for SAL Corporation as well as the problems whichneed to be further studied in the future.
